NASEO, AASHTO, and Duke University Releases a Report on Transportation Electrification Training Programs in the Southeast

On March 11, 2024, NASEO, The American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO), and Duke University’s Nicholas Institute for Energy, Environment, and Sustainability released “Building an EV Workforce: A Review of Southeast Transportation Electrification Workforce Development Training Programs.” This resource provides a substantive inventory of workforce development and training programs directly related to transportation electrification in the Southeast. The report compiles current, announced, or recently active programs across four category areas: 1) Workforce Development Consortium and Special Programs; 2) Manufacturing; 3) Automotive Maintenance and Service; and 4) Electrician and EV Charging Infrastructure.
