NASEO facilitates state collaboration and sharing of best practices to accelerate the use of domestic resources, support innovative technology development, and improve air quality in the transportation sector. NASEO members collaborate to identify pressing transportation-energy issues and explore innovative program and policy design that supports the use of electric and hybrid-electric, hydrogen, natural gas, propane, biodiesel, and ethanol vehicles and infrastructure, as well as understand the energy implications of automated and shared vehicles. The goal of these efforts is to support states and their partners in transportation-energy business development, environmental protection, and energy reliability.
