State Energy Offices and Others Receive $623 million in Charging and Fueling Infrastructure Awards

On January 11, 2024, the Biden-Harris Administration announced $623 million in awards for the Charging and Fueling Infrastructure (CFI) Discretionary Grant Program. The recipients included State Energy Offices, state Departments of Transportation, city and county governments, air quality agencies, and consortiums of city, state, and community organizations. The CFI awards will fund 47 EV charging and alternative fueling infrastructure projects in 22 states and Puerto Rico. $311 million of CFI funds will go towards community charging projects in urban and rural communities, including at convenient and high-use locations such as schools, parks, libraries, multi-family housing, etc. Another $312 million will fund projects along Alternative Fuel Corridors to fill gaps in the core national charging and alternative fueling network. For more information please click here.
