This full-day event, jointly hosted by the National Association of State Energy Officials (NASEO) and the Colorado Energy Office (CEO), will bring together staff from State Energy Offices, Departments of Transportation, and associated agencies throughout the Intermountain West with key freight sector representatives, industry experts, shippers, carriers, utilities, manufacturers, charging providers, and leading research institutions to support enhanced regional coordination on electric freight infrastructure planning, standards, and corridor development, amongst other key regional objectives.
Building on the success of the Regional Electric Vehicle Plan for the West (REV West) Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), the Symposium will include interactive discussions on the latest trends, technologies, policies, and investments driving electric freight forward. By working together to advance public-private freight partnerships, we aim to spur American innovation, boost economic development, strengthen energy security, streamline industry investments, support public health, and reduce costs for all Americans.
The planned agenda is linked below. The event also includes an optional visit to NLR’s Flatirons Campus to tour the in-process commissioning of a new state-of-the-art, megawatt-scale charging R&D testbed - the facility will include 10 MW of charging, a 10 MW microgrid, 1.25 MW electrolyzer, 400 kW of solar, and full-scale fleet cycle, grid integration, and resilience scenario capabilities built to enable future public-private partnership access.
Registration: There is no registration fee, however, attendees must register online. Admission is by invitation only, and participants must register no later than Friday, March 27, 2026. Due to space constraints, we kindly ask that only one representative attend on behalf of each participating agency or company. Individual Foreign National registrations will be considered after this date on a case-by- case basis according to screening timelines. Please note all Foreign Nationals will receive an email asking them to complete a secure Foreign National Access Request. This must be returned within 5 days.
