Leading in Gulf Coast Hydrogen Transition (LIGH2T) (submitted)

The Southern States Energy Board (SSEB), which includes sixteen states, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands, is partnering with Linde, INEOS, MPLX LP, and thirteen other companies to establish a clean hydrogen hub in the Gulf Coast region. The team, led by SSEB, submitted a concept paper and received an encourage notification from DOE. The hub would take advantage of the region's existing hydrogen infrastructure and incorporate a diversity of technologies and feedstocks to reduce emissions from key energy-intensive sectors.
